Hello world, in today's blogpost I'll be introducing one of my favorite musicians on YouTube, miss Meghan Tronjes. Meghan Tronjes (username: tronjesml), is a 25 year old American young woman who has recently become quite a sensation on YouTube. She makes videos of acoustic (and rarely studio) covers of both mainstream & non-mainstream music, followed by some original music she has written and performed by herself as well. The thing I really love about her is that one of her greatest inspirations is Adele, who is also one of my top favorite singers. In fact, she has an extremely similar voice color with Adele, however there is a subtle yet unique difference that distinguishes her from Adele.
Above is a video of her cover of “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele. You can clearly see some similarities and differences between her and Adele in this video, each having their own distinct color.
Unsurprisingly, she was introduced in the Ellen Degeneres Show, where she actually got to meet her greatest inspiration, Adele.
Despite their similarities in music, Meghan and Adele share other similarities as well. For example, you would have to admit that they aren’t in the best shape. However, when asked in an interview they had both answered that they are content about how they look, and that they have no intentions of changing the way they look right now.
I greatly admire not only Meghan’s musical abilities, but also her confidence and personality. I see that there is a lot to learn from her and her actions.
